No ordinance can be changed without going through the proper channels. Then the final change will be our votes. If our Constitution has been breached, then us, as Tribal members, need to make sure it is put back to the original state. Loretta Sizemore Roll 311 Dear Smoke Signals: The Northwest Native American Club of Chemeketa is doing a benefit to raise money for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. A winter storm hit the reservation in January and more than 9,000 Tribal members and sur rounding non-Native neighbors were affected. We are asking if there are any vendors interested in supporting the Cheyenne River Sioux relief, which will be held at Chemeketa Community College in the new quad on June 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Litefoot will be performing at 3 p.m. We would like to get at least 10 vendors to come and show the work they do. There will be a $25 fee for tables. Please, no food vendors. Jeremy Bailey Northwest Native Club President Basketball tournament set A 3-on-3 Open Basketball Tournament will be held Friday and Sat urday, June 4-5, in the Tribal gymnasium. The tournament will be double elimination and players must be 18 and older and no taller than 6 feet 4 inches. One substitute per team will be allowed, but is not required. Cost is $10 per person or $40 for a team.
