These positions are designed for the purpose of providing enhanced opportunities for youth or students. YOUTH CREW LEADER. $10.50 per hour. Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Approximately 12 weeks, starting June 2001 CLOSING DATE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2001. Duties: Supervise and provide leadership to a six-person summer youth work crew for eight weeks and assist the Fish and Wildlife Department for approximately four weeks. Youth crew projects may include stream restorationenhancement, trail and park maintenance, native tree and plant plantings, forest inventory, or other natural resource and community projects. Qualifications: Desire to work with youth andor in natural resources. Must be In good physical condition and be able to work in rugged outdoor terrain. Experience in the proper use of hand tools. Requirements: Work boots, valid Oregon Driver's License, safe driving record. Must success fully complete pre-employment background check and drug test. YOUTH CREW MEMBER. $6.50 per hour.
