Spilyay Tymoo, Warm Springs, Oregon October 11, 2 0 0 7 Page 3 Police eradicate pot growing operation The Warm Springs Police Department and the Drug En forcement Administration re cently executed a search warrant foHowing a mondi-long investi gation into an illegal marijuana growing operation on the reser vation. Detectives found and eradi cated two separate marijuana growing operations in the north east comer o f the Warm Springs Reservation, commonly known as the Mutton Mountain area, specifically Eagle Creek. Approximately 17,763 plants were eradicated. The total esti mated street.value for these plants was $1,776,300. No suspects were found at the time the warrants were ex ecuted. The case is still being inves tigated, as other evidence found in the area may lead to suspect identities.
