Each of the 225 runners started out with the intention of finishing. Some did, some didn’t. One runner in the 14.5 mile run fcommented, “The first ten-miles were easy.” Those people who ran — whether at be in the 3-mile, the 6-mile or the 14.5 mile run should be commended just for running. Not only did runners exert a lot of energy but so did the Simnasho 4-H “Discovery” Club, parents of the students, volunteers and spectators. Everyone worked to make the 3rd Annual Simnasho Mini- Buses are loading Marathon the success that it obviously was. Unfortunately, not all the runners could take home a trophy.
