Simnasho Mini-Marathon
An event al

Some folks ran for the sport
of it, some ran for the
competition, and others ran to
test themselves. Each of the 225
runners started out with the
intention of finishing. Some
did, some didn’t. One runner in
the 14.5 mile run fcommented,
“The first ten-miles were easy.”
Those people who ran —
whether at be in the 3-mile, the
6-mile or the 14.5 mile run
should be commended just for
running.
Not only did runners exert a
lot of energy but so did the
Simnasho 4-H “Discovery”
Club, parents of the students,
volunteers and spectators.
Everyone worked to make the
3rd Annual Simnasho Mini-
Buses are loading
Marathon the success that it
obviously was.
Unfortunately, not all the
runners could take home a
trophy. Awards went to the
following runners.
