annual “Indian Week” at Mad­
ras.
Activities include school as­
sembly, “WHALE”, teepee race,
dinner banquet, powwow and
many other activities.

The third annual Oregon
Indistn Education Conference
has been set for April 27 through
April 29 at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort.
Registration will take place
in the upper lobby Thursday
from 9 to 10 a.m. Registration is
$25.00 for adults and $15.00 for
full-time students.
Also on Thursday, all resolu­
tions from active members must
be turned in.
“Unity through communica­
tion with Indian Education” is
the theme for this y ea r’s con­
ference which is sponsored by
the Warm Springs Tribal Edu­
cation com m ittee and Oregon
Indian Education Association.
