"They throw themselves at the defenses wildly. Much of it's at night. And it s bloody and vicious. "There's lots of hand-to-hand fighting and I mean close hand- to-hand fighting. After this presentation. It ran for several years on Broadway. It was revived in IMS and had another successful run on Broad way. Gretchen, the daughter of the burgomaster, will be played by Sharon Anderson. Hendrick Von Damm. the true lover of Gretchen will be the role of Ray Holmquist.
