(Spe cial.) The senior Epworth league ot the local ehurch was eutertained at a Hal lowe'en party at tho homo of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Cieesy. The house was beautifully decorated in the Hallowe'en colors and seasonable flowors, with autumn leaves, Jack o' lanterns and black cat, to add a ghostly appearance to the dec orations, where several ghosts act ed as hostess for the occasion, as they etalhed to and from among the guests. A very happy time was spent playing games, after which a very dainty luncheon was sorvod. Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Words cannot express the great appreciation and gratitude for the much needed help to the Thomas Burgeas Ford Memorial Methodist church. With the mem olral windows all completed and the auditorium plastered, the building committee is very much encouraged and hopes to be- able to delicate the euditorlum soon. The Ladies Aid met at the home of Mrs. Hunt on Wednesday after noon. Quite few ladies were present and after a short business session conducted by the vice president. Mrs. Eedlord.
