Proposed activities include: com- mercial harvest, thinning, prescribed burning, regeneration tree planting, transportation system management, and danger tree removal. This project planning area is approximately 33,150 acres in size, approximately 32,000 acres of which are National Forest System Lands within Asotin and Garfield Counties, Washington. The DEIS analyzes the environmental consequences of the no action alternative (Alternative A), the proposed action (Alternative B), and one additional action alternative (Alternative C) was de- veloped in response to wildlife needs.
