The Project Description: Joint-Free Freezer Concrete Slab Plus/Minus 110,000 square feet The concrete floors shall be a “jointless” floor system to accommodate the loading of seven (7) deep racks, (4) pallets high, 3,500 pound rated racking. It should have a sand or mud slab base covering the glycol lines, insulation, and a wear slab designed for fully loaded racks designed for four (4) pallets high. The slab design shall account for all necessary thermal breaks between the different temperatures. Floor slab construction joints shall be kept to a minimum and reinforced to prevent differential joint settlement. All warehouse concrete floor slabs shall receive an Ashford (or equal) floor densifier. The Port of Morrow reserves the right to reject for good cause, any or all bids, or to postpone the award of the contract upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
