The exhibition, one of the most plc turesnuo that Is staged here annual ly, will continue iintl December 8. . Th feature of the show this year that excited the most comment waa the marked Invasion of the west by tho ea.xt. Now York, West Virginia. Maryland and Ohio were re present ed with displays of the "fruits of the soil," rivaling those of any ono of the western or southern states. The Maryland exhibit was made by Fred erick county, while the three states were represinted through tholr state boards of agriculture. It was West Virginia's first appearance at the Innd show. Canada was also represented by elaborate displays mado by the dominion government, the provinci al government of Hrltlsh Columbia and Alberta and the Chamber of Commerce of Edmonton.
