When the season for Indoor con certs opened this month in the Hippo drome with seats at 25 cents each and the announcement was made that no "ragtime" and only a little "popular" music would be on the program, the success of the "pops" was regarded as doubtful by many. But the at tendance at the concerts so far has dispelled all doubts as to the concerts' future popularity and caused Herr Timmer the director, to declare his belief that the craze for "ragtime" was dying and that "real music" was again coming into It's own.
