To uppreeiate them a person does not need to be educated In music for they oppeal to all classes and yet no critic can well find fault with them. They ure just good, clean entertainers who know how to make on evening pass ail too quickly. Prof. Daggy has never appeared In Pendleton before but he Is vouched for by some of the very best author ities. He comes with a messago and at the same time with a promise of an evening that will be free from any tedtousness Here Is what some who have heard him have to say about him: Maynard Ic Daggy Is that rara avis, a natural orator. Give him a good audience at any time, ln any place, of any quality, and assign him any subject and Mr. Doggy's Hps op en and the words flow forth. Not merely words cither, for his mind Is to moulded, his Ideas so marshalled, his brain so schooled that I do not believe he could make an Illogical Bpeech If he tried. Kar rrom being puperflclal, his superb gift of speech springs from the deep fount of char acter, from honesty of purpose, lu cidity of examination, slncerolty of Edmund Vance Cook, Tho Poet. I. .. S.
