The concensus of opinion through out the state is that if nominated, Mr. Patterson would be stronger ill the Enll election than any other candidate. He, being a prartieal fanner, is in sympathy with the farmers’ trouble* and w ill apply business methods for their relief. Patterson is making the campaign on a platform of progressive and constructive principles, and making an unqualified promise thut he w ill redure taxes, and that he w ill apply business principles to the adminis tration of State affairs.
