Bids/classifieds REQUEST FOR BIDS METRO PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES ENGINE GENERATOR SET REPLACEMENT RFB 11-1822 The Parks and Environmental Services Department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, locat- ed at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting sealed bids to replace an engine generator set at Metro South Station (2001 Washington Street, Oregon City). Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., February 10, 2011, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Karen Slusarenko, RFB 11-1822. The contract contemplated consists of replacing an exist- ing engine generator set (210KW Katolight) with a new engine generator set with minimum output of 220KW. The work shall include removing the existing generator set, installing a new generator set and equipment, also electrical work, and misc. appurtenances. The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials required to design, construct, fabricate and install all components to provide fully operational engine generator set as described by the contract documents. The work will also require the services of the engine generator set manu- facturer’s service representative for commissioning and training. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes which clearly identify the item(s) as stated in the RFB.
