The attendants were dressed sim ilarly in aqua taffeta dresses with self jackets. Skirts of the dresses were nylon tulle. They wore headbands of pale yellow baby gladiolus and hyacinth florets. The small niece of the groom Diana Kay Parks of Eugene, ear ned the rings m a heart-shaped box within yellow and white bou quet. She was dressed similarly to the other attendants, Best man was William Hunter of Eugene and ushers were the groom's brother, Keith Parks, and Leonard Gardner, both of Eu gene. John Hay sang "At Dawning" and "A Wedding Prayer, companied at the organ by Mrs. Gordon Pappas who also played wedding music. A reception took place in the church parlors. The bride s aunt, Mrs. S. Mrs. Larry Dilley played organ music and accompanied the cnurcn choir which sang "Ave Maria" and "Our Father Who Art in Heaven." A reception was in the Spring field American Legion Hall, Cake was cut by Mrs. Arthur Harbaugh Mrs. Russell Page and Miss Nan cy LaJoie poured punch, and Mrs, Lloyd Albright presented the guest book. All are of Springfield A sister-in-law of the groom, Mrs. William Huster of Williams, Ariz., poured coffee. For their wedding trip to Cali fornia the bride wore a brown suit1 with white accessories and the orchid corsage from her wedding bouquet. The couple is at home in Spring field where both are employed. They are residing at 818 F St. The bride formerly lived at Bend. The groom attended the University of Colorado. Waterhouso of Junction City, Sunday, March 7, Rev. R. E. Clark of Eugene, re tired Congregational minister, performed the 10 a.m. ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's cousins, Mr. and Mrs. James Mc- Manus. in Santa Clara, The bride was given in mar riage by her son, Jack Black of Florence. She wore a grey suit and hat and a corsage of pink and white carnations. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. James Mc- Manus. Mrs. McManus wore black afternoon dress and a cor sage of red and white carnations, Bouquets of daffodils were plac ed about the room tor decora tion. At the reception which fol lowed, Mrs. Douglas Huey, the hride's dauehter. cut the cake, Mrs. Ernest Smyth and Miss Muriel McManus poured the cof fee, and Mrs. Jake King and Airs, .Tames McManus assisted with the serving. Lee, formerly of Springfield, now stationed at Melbourne. air Wed In Japan CAMP TOKYO, JAPAN At a military wedding ceremony in Tokyo, Japan, Feb. 13, Miss Mary Keen, 25, and 1st Lt. Gay i , Baldwin, 25, both of Eugene, were married in the Camp Drake Armv Chanel. Chaplain (Lt. Col.) George Almond performed the double-ring nuptials. Afterwards the newlywed couple greeted friends at a reception in the Camn Drake Officers' Club. The bride is the aaugnier oi Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Keen, 20W) Emerald St.. and the bride eroom's mother is Mrs. Ruth Baldwin, of 951 Alder M., Eu gene. Mrs. Baldwin currently is living at The Knoll, Ames, la. . Maid of honor was Mrs. worton Parks, of Chicago. 1st. Lt. Norton L. Parks, was best man and the ushers included 1st Lt. Robert L. Harper, Dalagona, Ga., and 2nd. Lt. Daniel Olin, Alexis, 111. The bride was given by CWO Robert W. Schultz, of Seattle. The couple traveled to Nikko, Japan, located about 90 miles from Tokyo, for their honeymoon. Lt. Baldwin currently is as-' sicned to Company A, Camp Drake Replacement Depot. Prior to being stationed in Japan ne spent 12 months in Korea, and earlier was at Camp Roberts, Cal. He is a graduate of the Univer sity of Oregon. The bride attended University of Oregon and was associated with a Eugene department store before coming to Japan by plane for the wedding. After returning from .their honeymoon, the couple will live in Tokyo. Wedding First In New Church son of Yoncalla, dressed similarly YONCALLA Miss Dolores Sanders of Los Angeles and Char les Hughes of Long Beach, Calif., were married at Yoncalla Church of Christ March 12, the first wed ding to take place in the new church. James Loyd, a student at Northwest Christian College, performed the ceremony at 8 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Otho Sanders of Yoncalla are parents of the bride and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. John Hughes and the late Mr. Hughes, also of Yoncalla. Mr. Sanders gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a gown of white net and lace over taffeta, fashioned with sweetheart neck line on a fitted bodice. With it she wore white mitts and a fin gertip veil held by a cap of lace matching that in the bridal gown. She carried a white Bible topped by a lavendar orchid and fern with yellow and white ribbon streamers. The bride's sister, Mrs. Gene Beck of Sutherlin, was matron- of-honor, wearing pink net and carrying a bouquet of yellow and white carnations. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Willis of Melbourne, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Mag nus Lee of Springfield. Given in marriage by her lath er, the bride wore a gown ot white Chantilly lace and tulle over satin. Her tiered illusion veil was attached to a half bonnet of crystal pleated illusion. Johnson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. and ushers were Lawrence Loeff- lcr, brother-in-law of the bride groom from Central Point, and Merlyn Anderson, the bride's brother. At the reception which , fol lowed in the parish hall, Mrs. Lawrence Loeffler cut the cake. Mrs. Ben Anderson and Mrs. Al- vin Anderson, aunts of the bride, poured. Mrs. Walter Howard had the guest book, and Miss Alverta and Miss Kama Anderson, cou sins of the bride, cared for gifts. After a honeymoon on the Ore gon coast, tbe couple will be at home in Alameda, Calif. Mrs. Johnson is a graduate of Junction City High School and the Dental Nurses Training School of Sin Francisco.
