Kitlerman of Harrisburg, became the bride of .Richard Allen Langert of Spring field in a double-ring ceremony at raith Lutheran Church Junction City, Saturday, March 13. The Rev. Harold E. Olscn per formed the 8 p. m. ceremony. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Langert of Springfield. Tall baskets of mixed flowers in shades of yellow, pink and white decorated the church fori the candlelight ceremony. Can dies with white satin bows and streamers were at each pew. Phone 4-1861 sang "I Love You Truly" and "0 Promise Me," accompanied by Mrs. Donald Montgomery at the organ, Mr. Kitterman escorted his daughter, who was gowned in a chapel-length dress of white satin with nylon net overskirt It was made with lace bodice and mandarin collar, and a wide pan el of lace set in the overskirt from waist to hem. Her lace edged net veil fell from a head piece embroidered with seed pearls and sequins. She carried an orchid on a white Bible, with a shower of carnations and lily-of-the -valley. The three attendants, Miss Louise Duff, maid of honor, Miss Christine Siefke and Miss Bar bara Blomquist, wore ballerina length gowns of blue and yellow taffeta with matching net stoles. and headpieces of net twined with forget-me-knots. All wore carnation corsages in colors con trasting to their gowns. Misses Patty and Margie Kitterman, sis ters of the bride, were candle-lighters. Wesley Waltman of Eugene was best man and ushers were Jimmy Kitterman and Gene Gil- more. At the reception in the parish hall, Mrs. Enos Loomis cut the cake assisted by Mrs. Dwight Smith and Mrs. Fred Montgom ery. Mrs. J. 0. Barnes poured cof fee and Mrs. Cy Montgomery served punch. The bride wore a grey and blue suit with navy blue and white accessories for their wedding trip along the Oregon coast. She was a member of the Committee on City Keorgani- zation, appointed by former Port land mayor, Dorothy McCullough Lee, served on former Governor Douglas McKay's Committee on Displaced Persons; and is a mem ber of Governor Patterson's State Committee on Children and Youth. In the League, Mrs. Hervin is currently a member of the na tional nominating committee. Details of the March 24 meet ing, together with reports of the committees working on items for the coming year, are published in the Leagues March bulletin. Members are asked to take table service and food, according to the first letter of their last name, or may pay cash in lieu of food. President Ralph Lake from the Latter-day Saints Church in Eugene officiated at the 1 p.m ceremony. Organ music precea ing the ceremony was played by Wallace Bullard of JSugcne. The bride's dress was of mauve- colored Pakistan silk, made waltz length and with a scoop neckline and elbow-leneth sleeves. The: fullness at the back was centered with a bustle bow. She wore a pale pink felt hat with a veil and a diamond lavaliere belonging'to her mother completed her cos tume. Her flowers were a bou quet of pink carnations centered by an orchid. Miss Allene Anderson from Salt Lake City, the bridegroom's sis ter, was maid of honor. She wore a erey and pink dress made with a full skirt and a jacket and a pink cummerbund at the waist. Her bandeau headpiece was of pink nylon net with sequin and flower trim and she carried pink carnations and heather. Best man was Vaughn Ball and ushers were Carmi McKinley Jr. the bride's brother, and Lou Hiatt of Portland. At a reception in the parish hall, pink tapers in silver cande labra flanked the tiered cake which was encircled with pink carnations and clusters of violets. Mrs. Carmi McKinley Jr. cut the cake and Mrs. W. E. Hansen poured. Carmi McKinley and Be nard Jensen served punch. Mrs, Vaughn Ball had the guest book and Mrs. Larry Dobner and Mrs. Earl Anderson cared for gifts. Miss Suzon Talent and Miss Bar bara Anderson, daughters of the bride and groom, passed the groom's cake. Following a trip to San Fran cisco, the couple will be at home at 7337 N. Washburne in Portland. More than 30 out-of-town guests were present including the bride groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Anderson and his sister, Miss Allene Anderson, all of Salt Lake City, Domestic Art Club To Hear Mrs. Waechter Domestic Art Club will meet Monday at 2 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Clarence Hines, 2560 Cen tral Blvd. Mrs. H. Organ Group Forms Here, An organizing meeting for the proposed Eugene Chapter of the Hammond Organ Society will take place March 31 at the home of Mrs. Eva Stevens Graves, 1240 Mill St. Temporary officers ap pointed for the new musical group are J. C. Coxon, president; Mrs. H. G. Chickering, secretary; Mrs. Rudolph Jans, treasurer; and Mrs. P. E. Hansen, entertain ment chairman. Open to both amateur and pro fessional, the organ society will furnish a meeting ground for per sons whose vocation or hobby is organ music. Many major cities have similar chapters whose members get together once twice a month for short recitals, talks on organ techniques and problems, and a general social evening. One of the hopes of the new Eugene Chapter is to organ ize to the extent that it would be possible to invite some of the top organ artists for engagements here.
