W. Handley, was married to Richard W. Ingwer sen, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Ingwersen of Geneva, Nebr. Dr. Vance Webster performed the ceremony at eight-thirty o'clock, on the evening of November 28. Miss Handley wore a street length dress of soft white wool, trimmed with gold, and white accessories. She carried a white Bible, topped with a bridal bou quet of carnations centered with an orchid. Miss Patricia Isaac son was the bride's only attend ant. She wore a blue dress with gardenia bouquet. Clarence F. Easton of Spring field acted as best man. Mr. Handley gave his daughter in marriage. The bridal party stood i n front of - fireplace, with baskets of white chrysan themums and candelabra on either side. Mrs. Webster sang "Because," accompanied by Miss Betty Morris at the piano. Miss Morris also played "Always" and the wedding marches. A reception was given at the home of the bride's parents. The bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Arnie Peters, and Mrs. R. R. Handley, sister - in - law of the bride, served. For going away, Mrs. Ingwer sen wore a suit of royal blue gabardine with white accessor ies, a five-strand pearl necklace, gift from the bridegroom, a top coat of grey and the orchid from her bouquet. The candlelight ceremony was solemnized at the home of the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs-. Willard Ross. The double - ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Glen A, Hol man, pastor . of the Florence Christian' church at seven-thirty. The party stood before a fire-' place decorated with baskets of pink and white chrysanthemums at either side. Seasonal sprays were on the mantel. The wedding march was play ed by Mrs. N. J. Thompson, who also accompanied Mrs. Harold Martin as she sang "Until" and "At Dawning." The bride, given in .marriage by her father, wore a gown of white brocaded satin, fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and lone sleeves, with a full skirt' and train. Miss Surcamp wore a street length dress of peach color, with brown hat. Her corsage was of three small green orchids. Miss Letha Surcamp, sister of the bride wore an aqua dress with corsage of pink carnations. Walter J. Hardcastle, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. Arthur Henderson usher ed. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Ivan Surcamp. Large baskets of white chrysanthemums with candelabra were used in decor ating the church. The young couple left for a trip to the coast, and are now at home at Mapleton. CLUB POSTPONES LISTED MEETING Young Business Women will not have their meeting schedul ed for this Monday, but will meet Jaruary 20. GUILD TO ELECT AT NEXT SESSION St. Mary's Episcopal Guild will not meet for sewing during the holidays. Next meeting will be the first Wednesday in January, at which time there will be elec tion of officers. ILLNESS IS CAUSE FOR POSTPONEMENT Meeting of the Westway Club which was to have been Thurs day, was postponed because of illness, and will be held Monday evening, at the home of Mrs. F. R. Gibbons, 1224 Sixth Avenue West. There will be a Christmas party and gift exchange. HELMETTA CLUB has can celled the meeting which was to have been held Wednesday. Dr. Paul C. Dr. Packer talked on the people of England, France, Ger many, Russia, and India, basing his address on personal exper ience and contacts in these countries. Table decorations featured choir boys and angels at places, and center decorations of holly and Christmas candles. Group singing of Christmas carols was led by Marjorie Sco bert Wilson. Thirty members and two Ttiests, Dr. and Mrs. Packer, attended the dinner.
