Many Women Assist In Tour of Houses ' The guided campus tour con ducted by Oregon Mothers last week end, as an innovation of the Christmas season, proved ex tremely popular and may be made an annual happening. In spite of a moist day, scores of women were taken over the cam pus to visit the women's living organizations, to view their Christmas decorations. Many ideas were fou: d fo- home use. While the tour did not return financially as well as the card party which It was planned to replace, it was felt that it would be of particular value in public relations. Mothers who were ac customed to visit but one house on the campus were enabled to visit dozens of them, and to note what features were used in their arrangements. It is believed housemothers will meet an atti tude of renewed interest among their mothers clubs, as an un planned result of the tour. Tours were conducted from Gerlinger Hall through the af ternoon, and at their close, hot spiced tea was served by Orides Mothers at the hall. Guests were met at the various houses by the following hostess es: Ann Judson House, Mrs. W. Van Atta, Mrs. W. E. Schick, Mrs. Galen Boles; Gamma Hall, (CONTINUED. CN PAGE 26).
