Hobbies Show Set By High's Y-Teens SPRINGFIELD Members of the Y-Teens of Springfield Union High School are sponsoring their first annual hobby show Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the school. Displays representing hobbies of persons ranging from pre-school children to adults also will be viewed by grade school students in the afternoon. Awards will be given for the best displays in each age division. Funds from the show will be used to send a representative of the Y-Teen group to the national YWCA convention In Grenell, Iowa, this summer. School District 19 Budget Meeting Set SPRINGFIELD The first meeting of the School District 19 Budget Committee will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Union Hgih School offices. Along with requests for funds for regular grade school adminis tration, the committee will con sider a school board proposal to increase teachers' minimum salar ies by about $600 annually.
