Lindley, Dowdy and Casey paced the first-half attack with all three scoring at will on fast-break plays, and on lone one-handers. Two "Hot" In the third period the . 'Billies showed even more potency, as Dowdy and Casey become hotter than the proverbial firecracker to pace them to a 35-18 bulge going into the final period. The "Billies only outscored Low ell 18-17 in the last heat, but the game had already been won. Dowdy was high for the game with 20, followed by Casey with 16. Ellifutte was driving a city transit company bus down, the street and was un aware he was being pursued by a fire department truck. ' He traveled 22 blocks before a second fire wagon flagged him to a stop. "Just wanted to put out the fire in the back of your truck," said one ot the fire laddies.
