Car penter have learned she is in the Good Samaritan hospital in Port land for treatment for injuries re ceived a year ago. Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter lived in Eugene several years, Mr. Carpenter working for the telephone company. They went to Pendleton last July. Home Bought Mr. and Mrs. Scott Jackson have sold their farm in the Mohawk valley to Alvin Teeter and have bought a home in Glenwood from Simon Ohmart. They will move in a few days. Calls Answered City firemen were called out to three flue fires Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. The eve ning fires occured at 1237 Eleventh avenue west and 586 Fourth ave nue west. The other fire was at 313 Eighth avenue east. There was no damage at any of the blazes.
