While looking at the annual Instal lation ceremonies at the Neighbors of Woodcraft, Mra. Fred Ludford re called to na ber first visit to the lodge, twenty-nine years ago. "We lived out In the Falrmount district. It seemed so far away, then. We had to hnTe the team hitched np to bring us down to the lodge meetidg. And It was quite a little Jaunt to the building In 'the city.'". . . .As we listened to her In teresting account, we could not but think how easily this over-organlrod situation In Eugene could be solved If there weren't the ever ready auto mobile or bus.... When people had to go by the slow methods and such long distances ss were part of the horse days, they did not belong to 10 to IK clubs and lodges they couldn't attend them nil. . . , Three-year-old Teggy Raney has some convincing ideas about rain.
