Cameron, son of Mr. and Mr. Murray Cameron of Lci Angeles. The wedding took place in Honolulu on December 3. . Mrs. Cameron on February 1 -completed her work with the Red cVoys. She has been an as sistant in that organization for. the past tun years, for a year in San Francisco and a year at Hickam Field, Honolulu, with the overseas ui.it. Captain Cameron is with the sir forces and now stationed at Hickam freld. They will remain in the Hawaiian islands for an other six months or year. The Deaconess hospital auxil iary at its regular meeting in "the dining -room of the hospital Monday afternoon voted to pur- chase a steam table for the hos pital as its next project. This would enable food to be served hot to the' patients in every part of the hospital. Miss- Geraldine Kem, dietitian, talked about the use of the table. Mrs. Mayme Hill presided over the business session in the absence of the president, Mrs. L. F. Heuper roan. The Rev. James Scott, pastor of the Church of Christ, brought the "devotional message. During the social hour refreshments- were served at tables centered with bouquets of vio lets and daisies. Mi?. Frank Ji rak and Mr. O. A. C'ondit were the hostess committee. The home of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Polanski, 1595 Berry st will be the scene of the Valentine tea sponsored by the auxiliary of the Salem Deaconess hospi tal Thursday afternoon. The. womep's sessions were held in the Salem Woman's clubhouse'. Mrs. Fred Siefert of Newberg, district president, presided at the business session after being introduced by Mrs:. Austin Wil son, Salem president. The Dayton and Woodburn units were awarded first place ' ' m membership increase.
