Gains ran to around 2 points in key divisions while losses extended to around 3 points. The Associated Press average of 60 stocks was unchanged while the industrial component was off 50 cents, railroads were up . 80 cents, andutilities were up 20 cents. . Iliere were a 'few more losers than gainers in .the list of 1.172 individual issues traded 446 up and 463 down. Fifty-live stocks hit new highs for the year and 10 touched new lows. Volume came to 1.990,000 shares. That compares with 2.220,000 shares traded Friday when the market was mixed. He said for each dollar received in 1929 the average Michigan family now gets about $2.70. The average for the nation is $2.50.
