She ( carried a bouquet of rapture rosea and sweetpeas, also a mo-ther-of -pearl rosary, a .gift of the groom. IFor something; blue she- wore a. pair of traditional earrings with necklace to match. Miss Mildred Heisler, sister of the bride, was maid of honor She -wore a yellow taffeta, floor length gown and carried yellow daisies ana white carnations Mtss Juveiyn Thompson was bridesmaid. Her- gown : was of blue taffeta. She carried pink carnations and white sweetpeas, Miss Betty flower girl. jean Wilson was She wore pink and carried rweetpeas and! carha tions. . j Mr. Raymond Zollner of ML Angel was best man. Mr. John Schaf fer, Mr. Dale Nusom and Mr. Ed Belmeier were' ushers, Miss Shirley Brown played and Miss Marie Hannegan, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Schmerber sang. ' For going away the bride wore a navy blue suit and cor sage of gardenias. Following a trip to Washing ton and British Columbia the couple will be at home in Mt. Angel where Mr. Schaffer is en gaged in farming. The bride has been employed at the secretary of state's office. J I ; J - Today's Menu Hard cooked eggs make this supper dish, which sounds like an excellent meat substitute. Sliced tomatoes Egg supper dish Broccoli Strawberry ice cream EGG SUPPER DISH Yield: 4 servings 6 hard-cooked eggs 1 cup crushed -potato chips 3 tablespoons butter or sub stitute 2 tablespoons flour Vt teaspoon dry mustard V, teaspoon celery salt m cups milk Vi teaspoon salt Vi teaspoon pepper Slice eggs. Melt butter and stir in flour, dry mustard, and celery salt. Add milk gradually, stirring until the sauce smooth. Add salt and pepper, Set aside Vi cup crushed potato chips for top of casserole. In 1-quart greased casserole, place a layer of sliced eggs, top with a layer of crushed potato chips Continue layers ending with layer of eggs. Pour sauce over top and sprinkle over this the remaining crushed potato chips. Bake in a slow oven (323 de grees) for 20 minutes. RATION CALENDAR MEATS. FATS. C. larsen to Mr. and Mrs. Rholin Cooley. It has been known as the C. 1 Benson place and has been one of the rural show places near here. Mr. and Mrs. ) Benson bought the place 50 years ago and the house, one -of the-, best near here, 'was built 30 years ago, Ben son died 1 several years ago and Mrs. Benson has continued to live with her, daughter, Mrs. W. C. Larson, after they took over the farm. She has been bedridden for the past six years. Cooley will utilize the river bot tom acreage of the 33 acres for an expansion of his well known Irish gardens.
