Salem has doubled her importance as a dairying center in one short year , ' vAnd she' is still growing strong ' And while the amount of milk handled here may not double again in another year, it would be the best thing that could happen to Salem and the Salem section , ;' And it will double again before long; and double several more times, too, before this section has all the dairy cows it should have, and those dairy cows as good' as they ought to be. Every dairy cow increases the fertility of the farms, and, if she is a good dairy cow, she pays a profit directly, too, that it not negligible to her owner. .7 ' - .
