AU fruit in the best of condition. - tlmpque Valley Roseburg Thar ia a 25 per eent increase in acreage of small grains over normal and about 100 per cent increas in acreage of corn. Prune erop was never more promising and indications ar that tha yield win be normal. ' Apple erop is in excellent Condition and indications are that yield will be 115 per eent of normal. : Pears avenging up well some orchards heavy, others light. About 25 per eent new acreage coming. Continued showers and warm weather during the past week have been vary beneficial to all crops. Rogue River Valley u: Grants PassWeather during the past week has been cool and not the very best for growing crops. Present Indications ar that pejSSjei. pears aad apples will be a normal yield. Cfrn is in good condition. - Alfslfa ia doing anuauaUy well, especially in the irrigated districts. Medford Weather during the past week eloudy and coo, with one or two light showers, but not f any material benefit to crops. , Pus ent indications are that there will b an excep tionally heavy yield of pears, apples and other fruits. First cutting of alfalfa ia down and is avaraging about two to as per acre. The second erop In som instance about two feet high and indication' ar they - will get three crop this year, and good pasture will be furnished after th third erop ia cut. . A good rain will be of ma terial benefit to all grains. t Ashland Wheat, oata, barley and hay are in the best of condition and heads wen filled.
