These mothere' meetings are a feature of the W. C. T U. work, a department being devoted to them, presided over by a superintend ent. This was one of the first lines of work taken up by the national so ciety. Its Importance cannot be over estimated. The children must be en listed in this work that leaders for the future may be provided. Mrs. M. E. Hotter has done good work in this, aa well aa In other departments. She is In much demand aa a conductor of these programs. It would require much space to relate the many uplifting enterprises undertaken by this much beloved work er. Besides her work she has written a book of poems whlohVanka high In a literary sense, and la well worth read ing.
