Good Reading stimulates the imagination, implants higher standards and exerts a refining influence that can be secured in no other way. Good Reading provides the happiest hours of child hood while laying the foundations of character. St. Nicholas is the One Great Magazine for Children IN 1909 Colosed pictures by W. W. Deaalow, illustrator of "The Wizard of Ox,'' In every Dumber. . Seriaf stories by France ' , Hodgson Burnett, Ralph Henry Barbour, and other well-known writers.
