Manager Carl Morton of the Whitman college football team has closed arrangements with the Multnomah Athletic club for a game at Portland November 14, and only one thing now stands in the way of a fine week's trip into Oregon for the Whitman tee.ni. Manager Morton has a tentative engagement with the Oregon Agricultural college for a game at Corvallls November 11, but waits for the consent of the faculty of Whitman college before closing. Mr. Morton, however, is hopeful that the faculty will permit the week o?f for the team.
