According to them the "S" turn can be made at a speed of about 62 . miles an hour while the turn at the gravel pit will allow for -a speed of 28 miles. This is compara tively slow speed when the speed with which they plan to take the other curves is considered, but there Is a hill leading up to it commencing about 60 yards from where a turn will be made nto the Base Line road and 28 miles is all the speed which can be made up this grade. . : ,.v.'
