The new "Cloth of Gold" belts are much in vogue; also there will be nany calls for a shade to match gown. HANDKERCHIEFS A special display will be made at the 'kerchief cotinter, and new spring arrivals will be gen erously shown. There are many fine 'kerchiefs in French embroidered effects, regulation designs and initials. Armenian hand-made handkerchiefs and lace trimmed handkerchiefs in endless assortment. Both the best rnanufacturing modistes in this country and the leading style makers in Europe hve been drawn upon for the matchless garments that comprise the assortment gathered for this exposition. The most clever creations the season has brought forth jare exhibited in generous array, and we issue a cordial invi tation to women of discriminating taste to call and admire these triumphs of the garment-rhakef's art. Some, of these have scrim edges. Sash ribbons will be much used this spring and summer, one lovely design being large polka dots of self shade. There are alsc? moire rib bons in rich colorings, some of which have .scrim edges. New plaid are shown. An important spring fad is to have sash and hair ribbons match. Fashionable Footwear Here in Abundance We illustrate here two of the new Colonial styles in women's shoes. We have just received, in addition to ouj- already large shewing of spring footwear,-eleven new shape of tan oxfords. These are the most beautiful and sensible footwear styles s that spring has brought for,th. They are in dark brown, suede with Covered Cuban heels or tan Russia calf. The two-button oxford, which is a great favorite this spring, is very prominent among them. Another well-liked style is the "Garden Tie" a low cut pump, finished with leather bow; this positively does .not slip at the heel. One which will appeal to conservative people is a dark brown kid blucher with a medium heel and hand-turn sole. Neckwear, Gloves, Laces and Embroideries The neckwear counter will make a special showing during Opening Days of this spring's choicest novelties. These include embroidered Windsor ties, fluffy lace jabots, embroidered jabots .with colored borders,' "Merry. Widow" bows, chemisettes in lace or embroidery. , 'm NEW LACES--We are showing a profusion of the embroidered fillet net, which leads all otner patterns for trimming this year's smartest garments.
