Fashionable Footwear
Here in
Abundance
We illustrate here two of the new Colonial styles in women's
shoes. We have just received, in addition to ouj- already large
shewing of spring footwear,-eleven new shape of tan oxfords.
These are the most beautiful and sensible footwear styles s that
spring has brought for,th. They are in dark brown, suede with
Covered Cuban heels or tan Russia calf. The two-button oxford,
which is a great favorite this spring, is very prominent among
them. Another well-liked style is the "Garden Tie" a low
cut pump, finished with leather bow; this positively does .not
slip at the heel. One which will appeal to conservative people
is a dark brown kid blucher with a medium heel and hand-turn
sole. For those who wish more pronounced styles,' we have a
tan Russia calf oxford with a high Cub,an heel. We have the
in, widths as narrow as AAAA and in all sizes. Women seeking
the best to be had in footwear styles and the most for their,
money will inevitably come here Jo shop.
Neckwear, Gloves, Laces and Embroideries
The neckwear counter will make a special showing during Opening Days of this spring's choicest
novelties. These include embroidered Windsor ties, fluffy lace jabots, embroidered jabots .with
colored borders,' "Merry. Widow" bows, chemisettes in lace or embroidery. , 'm
NEW LACES--We are showing a profusion of the embroidered fillet net, which leads all otner
patterns for trimming this year's smartest garments. These are in. white or ecru and a large
variety of designs, one decidedly new pattern being a fillet mesh lace embroidered in soutache
braid; set of bands, and allover in ecru, black or white.
EMBROIDERIES with white backgrounds and the designs done in colors are much ! in demand.
We have these in entire sets insertions, allovers and edges Jto match. The colors are abso
lutely fast and wash perfectly. Baby Irish designs on sheer batiste are much used. Embroid
eries for waist fronts with center designs of fillet lace and colored embroidery are very popular.
GLOVES in silk or kid and in every shade to match the spring' gbwns. Long tan cape gloves
are favored for early spring outdoor wear, but for later summer, wjth light weight dresses, the
light blues. Copenhagen blues, old rose, lavenders and other" shades to match gowns will be
much in demand. .
