The celebration of the ninth anni versary of the Seamen's Institute last night at the headquarters, 100 North Front atreet, was a complete sucoess. A good musical program and several speechea were delivered and then re freshments were served. A check for 260 waa received from T. B. Wilcox, who was to appear on the program but was unable to attend. A fine musical program will be ren dered tomorrow night at the' Seamen's Institute under the direction of Miss Jessie Potts.
