Montgomery, the stur dy pioneer, who celebrated his eighty- ffth birthday last week, was given a surprise party on Saturday, January 5, in honor of the twelfth anniversary, where the afternoon wu spent in g-mes, singing and recitations. Later Miss Grade's mother, Mrs. Nellli Williams, served a dainty lunch to the cMldren. Miss Grade Williams was the recipient of many birthday gifts, together with many happy returns of the day.
