Fourth of July Celebration. j Toledo is busy preparing for the grandest celebration of the Fourth of July ever held in Lincoln county, The committees are all working hard and are meeting with the hearty support of every citizen. The following is -the program of . the day: ! Salute of One Hundred Guns " at Sunrise ! Krogstad. Music by the band Oration of the Day, by Judge Swope Song '.'Star Spangled Banner", by the Choir and Audience Adjournment for Lunch Sports fur the day will commence at 'I o'clock p. m. on the baseball grounds,' and aquatic sports at the ; water front. Two Hundred Dollars will be given as prizes to winning contes tants in the sports. . A game of Biiseball will be played in the afternoon. Our boys also tried their hands at base ball and wijl give a good account of themselves on the Fourth. The voting contest for Goddess of Liberty closed Saturday night. Ballot boxes were placed in the hall and voting was carried on during the dance. The boxes were closed at midnight. As was expected the friends of ..uiao. Lizzie Itulikobky succeeded in electing her by a ma jority of 1300 votes over her nearest competitor, Miss Mae Hurt. Miss Ronkosky received a total vote of 4500. Ten gallons of ice cream were sold during the evening. J. Iv. Berry, chairman of the celebra tion Committee reports that they have more money on hand than they know how to spend in celebra ting.
