Mr. Eigholz brought two fine
pianos to Waldport Monday and
they were both disposed of at once.
Mr. Eigholz is the pioneer in the
piano business in this place. .
Walker & Lelww are placing the

A large crowd witnessed the bas
ket ball game letween two Wald-

cream. Our boys also tried their
hands at base ball and wijl give a
good account of themselves on the
Fourth.
The voting contest for Goddess of
Liberty closed Saturday night.
Ballot boxes were placed in the hall
and voting was carried on during
the dance. The boxes were closed
at midnight. As was expected the
friends of ..uiao. Lizzie Itulikobky
succeeded in electing her by a ma
jority of 1300 votes over her nearest
competitor, Miss Mae Hurt. Miss
Ronkosky received a total vote of
4500. Ten gallons of ice cream
were sold during the evening. J.
Iv. Berry, chairman of the celebra
tion Committee reports that they
have more money on hand than
they know how to spend in celebra
