Dates to August 26 Editor Register : As it has become almost necessary for us valley people to have an opportunity to breathe pure mountain air, and also respite from our avocations, many have tried to recuperate among the lakes, springs and streams among the Cascade range. As we begin to ascend the grade, we then realize that many things might have been left at home, and thereby saved the animals much labor and ourselves much walking.
