Results of a recent election at the Portland Chapter of the NAACP are being disputed by members. Cur rent president Audrey Terrell is still president according to many mem bers of the civil rights group, but some members say Jo Ann Hardesty and an entire new slate of board leaders were elected earlier this month. Sources have not clarified what the alternative to Hardesty’s elec tion would mean - or if it might just mean the continued presidency of Audrey Terrell. The Portland Observer contacted the regional NAACP office for clari fication, but haven’t heard back. ^*^***************^^ ri jveddlna ' Announcement T w ins; I Place your announcement now for your special occasions & events.
