Hood A collection o f graffiti art will be exhibited through Oct. 29 at the Vi sual Arts Gallery located on the main campus o f Mt. Hood Commu nity College. Doug Forrest, who is also known as Kar, is celebrating his 25th year as a Baltimore, Md., graffiti artist. His interest in graffiti began at an early age with his discovery o f skate boarding, hip-hop music and mov ies such as "Beat Street" and "Wild Style." He creates graffiti art on can vases, cars, motorcycles, shoes and other objects. Like many graffiti art ists, Forrest was inspired and influ enced by the artwork o f comic book artists. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. Admission is free.
