We are allowed to have cultural and educational seminars on the 1*' and 3 ,a Thursday of each month, from 12:30 until 3:00 p.m.; however, in order for us to conduct a seminar we must have an outside sponsor come into the penitentiary (i.e., to support our program). 0 Currently, we are conducting our "Life Skills” [training program] seminars, so that we can teach young/older brothers (i.e., who have never lived on their own) all the independent living skills they’ll need to have a better opportunity to make a positive and successful transition back into the community: and, in order for us to have these kinds of seminars we need your help and support.
