Bledsoe got plenty o f help from Troy B row n, w ho returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdow n and was the middle man on a 60-y ard return o f a blocked field goal that put N ew E ngland ahead 21-3 early in the third quarter. B ledsoe threw 11 yards to D avid Patten for a touchdow n shortly after Brady injured his left leg late in the first half, putting the P atriots in p osition for A dam V in atieri’s fo u rth -q u arter field goal, and allow ing N ew England to hold the ball enough to avoid constant pressure late in the g am e.
