Ac cording to President Dave Brook, the company now has 60 members and seven vehicles, including a Toyota pickup. CarSharing opened its long-awaited first vehicle location in NW. Portland at 23rd and Lovejoy. Things are percolating at the Northeast Portland Buckman Heights apartment complex, where tow cars and a pickup truck are stationed. Member usage is steadily increasing. Fish Grants Businesses, non-profit organizations schools, local governments, and water shed coundils in the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area are encouraged to ap ply for up to $5,000 in funding for salmon education and enhancement projects. The Salmonid Education and Enhancement Grant Program is being offered by Metro and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Grant applications must be submitted to Metro by October 15th.
