Description of Work: Construct two high speed exit taxiways along Runway 10R-28L, overlay the north half of runway 3-21 and Taxi way E, and overlay a portion of Taxiways B and M with asphalt concrete; remove and reinstall runway and taxiway edge lights, taxiway centerline lights, and runway hold short lights; grade and seed runway and taxiway shoulders; and groove pavement of finished runway surface. A prebid conference will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 1998 at the Portland International Airport Maintenance Facility, 7111 N. E. Alderwood Road, Portland, Oregon, to discuss all aspects of the work, work phasing, project safety, and security. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. This will be the only time that the airfield will be available for site inspection prior to bid opening.
