Oregon State University UNIVERSITY HOUSING RENOVATION PROJECT Request for Information Due February 28, 1997 Oregon State University (OSU) is preparing to renovate and upgrade Hawley, Cauthorn, Buxton and Poling Halls, plus Heckart and Reed Lodges on the Corvallis Campus. The four Halls surround a landscape quadrangle. Each Hall was built at a different time, with the complex appearing as one large building. The Lodges are separate buildings north of West Dining Center. OSU would like to master Plan all six buildings, develop schematic designs for the Halls and do complete documents for Hawley Hall under one architec tural contract. The remaining three Halls would be remod eled in three successive bienniums following the preset schematic designs. OSU is seeking a professional design team headed by an Architectural firm experienced in Higher Education work. The team should include members experienced in residen tial collegiate design, working with other qualified consult ants to complete the goals of this project.
