The College Board offers admissions testing, needs analysis tor finan cial aid applications, and guidance, placement, and c re d it-b y - exam ination services to assist students making the transition from high school to college. The President is the chief executive officer o f the College Hoard, oversees the work o f a staff o f about 100, and is princi pal advisor to its Board o f Trustees The level o f responsibility and compensation is comparable to that o f President o f a major university. The President's charge includes trading the College Hoard and also strengthening education generally.
