Th livestock market was Active and firm in the sheep and hog division. There "warn a liberal run of 92 loads, of which two loads of cattle went through and 12 loads of hogs, and two loads of hogs ar rived 'direct. . Prime steers sold at $7.50 to $7.80, but the cattle market closed weak with the in-between grades selling 15 tj? 25 cents tower, but within the previous range of Quotations. Thin heavy calves were a - drug on the market. Sheep end lambs were In very good de mand with, not enough on hand to supply the trade. East of the mountain lambs sold a dime higher at $10.75. Hogs advanced to the $12 level, a gain ml a quarter over the closing prices of JLast veek Receipts -were 1430 cattle, 1JS6 calves, 81fl:t hogs and 1671 sheep.
