Each panelist spoke for 10 minutes about the prevalence of domestic violence and sexual assault in the community and the roles their respective agencies play in prevention, investigation, prosecution and victim assistance. The event was videotaped by John Hardham and will be available for those who missed the meeting; Kraemer said links would probably be available on the Helping Hands website in Hood River and the Haven website in The Dalles in the near future. Kraemer said that the panel was part of the monthly Extension Service Family and Community Education Study groups.
