Peninsula Poverty Response Peninsula Poverty Response P.O. Box 655 Ocean Park, WA 98640 Mission Statement: Through advocacy, awareness and action, we will reduce the consequences related to poverty on the Long Beach Peninsula. PROGRAM OVERVIEW OWL – Overnight Winter Lodging Peninsula Poverty Response is excited to announce that following the success of our 2016 season, OWL (Overnight Winter Lodging) will be open 7 nights a week this year! Thanks to all of our volunteers and the community for making this a possibility. We would like to thank Pacific County and CCAP (Coastal Community Action Program) for partnering with us to make this possible. OWL will be open November-mid-March, every day. Check-in is from 7:30 to 8:30pm, please join us for a warm, dry place to sleep. Project Homeless Connect PHC connects individuals struggling with homelessness with much needed services, such as medical, dental, and eye exams; housing; veteran services; ID replacement; veterinary; hair cuts; a warm meal; and more. If you are struggling with unstable or sub-standard housing, please join us! One day. One place. One purpose. Connecting those experiencing homelessness with support services. FUNDRAISING EVENTS: Cape D Triathlon The Cape D. Sprint Triathlon was established in 2012 by Ilwaco Parks and Recreation to bring healthy, adventurous events to Ilwaco, WA. Now sponsored by Peninsula Poverty Response, this event shines a light on individuals living in poverty. Peninsula Poverty Response puts on local events advocating for those in need, such as Project Homeless Connect and Overnight Winter Lodging.
